ASO is expanding its real-world AI capabilities with the launch of its second Flight Data Center (FDC) in 2026, located in Bucharest, Romania.
Following the success of our dedicated 1,000 m² test site in Germany, this new facility will double our capacity to generate high-quality flight data from real UAV operations. We are currently preparing the full SORA application to enable advanced test operations at the new site.
What Is the ASO FDC?
The Flight Data Center is ASO’s real-world testing environment where UAV´s fly under diverse operational conditions. Multiple optical sensors and Edge-AI cameras capture high-resolution, real-time flight data that continuously improve and validate our detection models.
This data engine is the foundation of ASO’s competitive edge:
live flights → real data → continuously evolving AI.
+250 Real Drone Flights
+12M Data Points Generated
—with the Bucharest FDC in 2026, these numbers will grow exponentially.
Open for Partners
Both ASO FDC locations will be available for external flight testing, providing a controlled, sensor-rich environment for:
-validation
-calibration
-performance benchmarking
With the 2026 expansion, ASO is building a powerful real-flight AI data ecosystems — enabling the future of UAV detection and airspace intelligence & awarness in lower Airspace.
